The Bi Writers Association (BWA) is the only bisexual literary organization in the world. We organize the Bisexual Book Awards (in a cycle that stretches from September through June) and other literary and cultural events throughout the year. We also have an upcoming bisexual literary project: the first anthology of bisexual poetry.

Interns will assist with organizing and publicizing the Bisexual Book Awards, the Bi Writers Conference celebrating our 10th anniversary, Our new Bi People in the Arts group (includes all the arts) plus working on the Anthology of Bisexual Poetry project. You can focus on your areas of interest and will be supervised and mentored by Director Sheela Lambert. Learning and applying skills in publicity, organizing, event planning, writing, editing and fund raising.

BWA has the most extensive library of bisexual books anywhere in the world and our office is in the library.

Prospective interns & volunteers should send an email with resume attached and inform us about their background, related skills and interests. Internships are unpaid due to our lack of budget.
